Haikus to Move

For those of you who may not know or have forgotten, haikus are a form of poetry started in Japan a very long time ago. Typically, they are written about nature however not always. The format is very simple. It is a 3 line poem that follows the following format: first line has 5 syllables, secomd line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables. Here are three that I wrote.

Reciprocity

You may not like me
but that’s fine because I don’t
care for you either.

Pride

Head held up high has
it’s rewards, never shun your
accomplishments, ever.

We March

We have to march on,
Not marching means losing too
much. Let’s keep marching
