For My Former Student Ramarley Graham!

Good Morning Blog Followers,
My formernstudent, Ramarley Graham was shot by and killed by an NYPD officer, in front of his grandmother and little brother when the only thing he was guilty of was walking in his house.
The officer who committed this heinous crime was exonerated and allowed to walk while my 19 year old student lies in the ground. The video of him walking into his home and the police busting into his house with guns drawn not knowing there were surveillance cameras recording the illegal trespass is on YouTube. Simply type “Ramarley Graham” to see his last steps.
If you can sign this petition then reblog this post, that would be a step in the right direction. Ramarley was also a writer and had potential beyond visibility. I was his teacher when he was in the 6th grade. No one should have to say good bye to a young shining star this way, certainly not those who knew him well.
Thank you in advance for your support. For more information on marches, uodates and ways to become more involved,  please visit Ramarley’s website. As Dr. King said, “A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
